Spectral Presents (Pink), 2022. Acrylic & watercolour on canvas, 12 elements, exhibited in solo exhibition 'Kindred', 2022. (Arusha Gallery, Edinburgh, UK). 25 x 30 cm each work. ‘Spectral Presents’ give form to the ethereal. These vibrantly coloured and textured ghostly forms appear to have no real substance beyond eyes and mouths, taking the simplicity of a pared back identity to its limits. Elemental in their ‘presences’, the phantasms hover on the border of visibility: seeming to emerge into view, or in the process of disappearing.
